Curriculum

Creative Curriculum is a comprehensive, research-based curriculum designed for early childhood education. It provides educators with a framework for planning and implementing activities that foster children’s learning and development. The curriculum is centered around 38 objectives that span various developmental areas.​

Social-Emotional Development
  • Creative Curriculum supports social-emotional development by fostering self-regulation, relationship-building, and emotional awareness through hands-on, play-based learning. The Al's Pals extracurricular program enhances this by teaching resilience, problem-solving, and positive social skills through interactive lessons and role-playing activities. Physical Development

Language Development
  • Creative Curriculum supports language development by providing rich, meaningful interactions, storytelling, and conversations that enhance vocabulary, communication skills, and early literacy. Through interactive activities, children build language comprehension and expressive skills in a nurturing, language-rich environment.
Cognitive Development
  • The Creative Curriculum fosters cognitive development by encouraging curiosity, problem-solving, and critical thinking through hands-on exploration and play-based learning. Children engage in meaningful activities that promote reasoning, memory, and foundational academic skills across various subjects.​
Literacy Development
  • The Creative Curriculum promotes literacy development by engaging children in read-aloud, storytelling, and hands-on literacy activities that build phonemic awareness, letter recognition, and comprehension skills. Through meaningful interactions with books and print, children develop a strong foundation for reading and writing.
Mathematics Development
  • Creative Curriculum supports mathematics development by incorporating hands-on activities that build foundational skills in number sense, patterns, measurement, and problem-solving. Through play-based learning and real-world applications, children develop mathematical thinking, reasoning, and confidence in using math concepts.
Discovery Development
  • Creative Curriculum supports discovery development by encouraging curiosity, exploration, and inquiry-based learning through hands-on experiences in science, nature, and the world around them. Children develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills as they investigate, experiment, and make connections through discovery-based activities.
Social Studies
  • Creative Curriculum supports social studies development by helping children explore their community, understand relationships, and learn about different cultures and traditions. Through interactive activities and real-world connections, children develop a sense of identity, responsibility, and an appreciation for diversity.
Creative Development 
  • Creative Curriculum fosters creative development by encouraging self-expression through art, music, movement, and dramatic play. Through open-ended activities, children develop imagination, problem-solving skills, and confidence in expressing their ideas in unique and meaningful ways.
English Language Acquisition (for non-native speakers)
  • Creative Curriculum supports English language acquisition by providing a language-rich environment where non-native speakers engage in meaningful conversations, visual supports, and interactive activities. Through storytelling, music, and hands-on experiences, children develop vocabulary, comprehension, and communication skills in a supportive and inclusive setting.​
