Ashley HomannExecutive Director
Ashley began working for Little Legends as a Lead teacher in the Preschool Department in 2019 and has been in administration since March 2020.
Ashley is a dedicated early childhood education professional with over 14 years of experience working with young children from diverse backgrounds. She is working toward a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education Administration. Holding a Bachelor's in Family Services, Ashley is passionate about fostering inclusive, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environments. As an advocate for diversity, inclusion, and family engagement, Ashley thinks outside the box to support teachers and students in their learning journey. She currently teaches the social-emotional curriculum Al’s Pals from Teaching Strategies to the preschool department, helping young learners build resilience, empathy, and self-regulation skills. Ashley is committed to empowering educators with innovative strategies and ensuring that every child receives a strong foundation for lifelong learning. |
Lauren TaylorAssistant Director
Lauren recently moved to Champaign from Chicago with her family and is excited to join the Little Legends Learning Center community alongside her son, Lennox. She has been working in early childhood education since 2012 and is passionate about continually learning and growing in the field.
Lauren is deeply committed to ensuring that every child has access to a high-quality early learning experience, regardless of their background — a belief that guides her work each day. Currently, her favorite children’s book is Dear Zoo, a frequent bedtime favorite in her home. Lauren looks forward to getting to know the children and families at LLLC and is excited to be part of the Little Legends family! |
Rebecca FyeAssistant Director
With over 14 years of experience in child development, Rebecca or Becca as she is mostly known, brings creativity, dedication, and a deep passion for fostering growth in young learners. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Care & Education, she blends academic expertise with hands-on experience to create engaging and nurturing learning environments. From preschools to community programs and educational institutions, both nationally and internationally, Becca has worked across various settings, always prioritizing innovation, enthusiasm, and a child-centered approach.
Becca thrives in guiding teams, mentoring colleagues, and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. Whether leading classroom initiatives, coordinating community programs, or training fellow educators, she takes pride in inspiring others and driving continuous improvement. Becca is dedicated to shaping the future of early childhood education by inspiring young minds, empowering fellow educators, and fostering innovative learning environments that leave a lasting impact. |
